Today is the official name´s day of Freya and this of course means for celebration, extra chocolate cake to the people !

The last few weeks Freya has been giving us signs of toothage. She’s been drooling lots, and biting and chewing things, though still in good humour.

Despite being able to feel a couple of sharp edges through her gums, not much else is happening in the denture department ; the first tooth started to be felt at around Christmas.

Still, we have no worries about her pearlies, since Jo must fulfill her (and most of our building’s) calcium quota.

Yesterday Josefin noticed definite toothage : two to be exact. Now comes the joy of the teething baby.

I still have difficulties beleiving just how happy she is. It seldom happens that she cries (even when teething or being ill/tired), and how little sleep she needs. In an average day she may only sleep for an hour during daylight, then almost right through the night. It may be tempting to have another little sibling for Freya, though are we pushing our luck?

She got so bored of us trying to put her on her stomach although she clearly doesn´t like it that she yesterday, for the first time, turned around to her back twice most probably to satisfy us. She is now back being on the back again! ( although not long before she turns around to her stomach..HA! )

Although it´s still a while until Freya will start eating solid food, she is now really interested in tasting ours. The way she almost gets over-exited when she sees the spoon is a good sign for the future..maybe?
The menu so far has been chips, baked potato, yoghurt and banana.
